Returns, Exchanges & Delivery Policy

Return & Exchange Policy

We operate under a 14-day return policy, allowing you to request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your item.

For a return or exchange to be eligible, the item must be in its original condition, unused, unworn, with tags still attached, and returned in its original packaging. Items returned without original packaging will be returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.

To minimize unnecessary returns or exchanges, we strongly encourage reviewing our size charts prior to purchase, particularly for oversized items, which are designed to fit generously.

Refunds and exchanges are processed only after the returned item is received and inspected in its original condition.


Please Note

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Orders that used a discount code of 20% or more are not eligible for refunds

  • All items from the Palestine Collection are final sale

  • All headwear sales are final

  • We no longer offer free returns

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, which vary by package size and destination

  • A 15% restocking fee applies to all approved returns and exchanges


Return Condition & Quality Assurance

All returned items are subject to quality assurance inspection upon receipt.

Returned items must be:

  • unworn and unused

  • free of pet hair, odors (including smoke, perfume, or body odor), stains, or visible signs of wear

  • neatly folded and returned in a condition suitable for resale

Returns that do not meet these standards will not pass quality assurance.


Failed Quality Assurance & Resolution Options

If a returned item fails quality assurance inspection:

  • The customer will be notified via email

  • Photographic documentation will be provided when applicable
    (Please note that odors cannot be photographed but are still grounds for failure)

The customer will then be offered the following options, based on the original return request:

1. Return of Item to Customer

The customer may request the item be returned to them by paying a flat $12 return shipping invoice.
Payment must be completed within 14 days of notification.

2. Exchange Requests

If the original return request was for an exchange, the customer may proceed by paying a flat $25 handling fee to cover cleaning, deodorizing, or minor restoration costs.
Once payment is received, the exchange will be processed.

3. Refund Requests

If the original return request was for a refund and the item is deemed salvageable, a partial refund will be issued, minus a flat $25 handling fee for cleaning and reconditioning.

Non-Salvageable Items

If the item is deemed not fixable or not suitable for resale due to hygiene or damage concerns:

  • No refund or exchange will be issued

  • The customer must pay the $12 return shipping invoice to have the item sent back within 14 days

  • If no response or payment is received within 14 days, the item will be recycled or responsibly disposed of

All quality assurance determinations are final.


Delivery Policy

Once a package is marked “Delivered” by USPS, we consider that official confirmation of delivery, as it comes directly from a government-operated service.

For all other carriers, a package is considered delivered once the shipping company provides photo proof of delivery or other verified delivery confirmation.

Once delivery is confirmed, Luetti 1980 is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, and we cannot offer refunds or replacements. Any chargebacks related to delivery confirmation will be disputed using carrier-provided proof.

Luetti 1980 is not responsible for damage that occurs during or after package opening. Customers are responsible for opening their packages carefully. Damage caused during unpacking — including cuts, tears, or other handling-related damage — is not eligible for refunds, replacements, or exchanges under any circumstance.


Chargebacks & Disputed Payments

Chargebacks are intended to address disputes related to a specific form of payment and do not constitute a determination of product ownership or contractual obligations.

Luetti 1980 reserves the right to dispute any chargeback believed to be invalid, abusive, or fraudulent. Customers who initiate chargebacks without first contacting us to attempt resolution may be subject to account restrictions, including refusal of future orders.

In cases where a dispute remains unresolved, Luetti 1980 reserves the right to pursue lawful remedies to recover losses incurred, including referral to third-party recovery services, where permitted by law.

This policy is designed to protect our small business from misuse of the chargeback process and does not affect statutory consumer rights.
